ICE COOL BLING!
A DJ and Rapping workshop was held at the school during February half term proved highly successful and will be repeated at a later date.
DJ Chicken, Keir Gill (from Manchester) and MC Philibuster (from Bradford), renowned DJs and Rapper facilitated the three-day workshop.
The ‘rappers’ from years 7, 8 and 9 were taken through the mechanics of writing their own lyrics and putting them to music.
They were also taught how to ‘scratch the decks’ the finished product was recorded and a CD given to each student at the end
